Delivery Driver
This position is designed as a Delivery Driver to bring loads of products to job sites or bring materials into our facility from outside sources. Items delivered include lumber items, mill work, doors, windows and other building materials.
Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm
Starting Salary Range: Competitive (based on qualifications)
(Merit increases based on performance)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be committed to customer service beyond all else
- Must maintain a current CDL GA (Class A or B) drivers license with a CLEAN MVR (class required will depend upon truck used for delivery)
- Responsible for delivery of building material products to job sites as directed by dispatch or management
- Responsible for assisting customers, helping to load trucks, and helping with yard organization and cleanliness while waiting on loads to be delivered
- Responsible for keeping the truck clean inside and out and providing daily maintenance checklists
- Obey all traffic laws while operating company vehicles (seat belts, no cell phones,etc.)
- Make pickups of returning materials as directed by Delivery Supervisor
- Represent company in your actions at work and on the roadways
